3 point latching crash bar. Most standard fire exit doors only use a single point crash bar, as we pride our selves on the security of our steel doors we offer a 3 point latching crash bar as standard on our emergency exit steel doors.
All our steel door crash bars are tested to
BS EN 1634 and
BS EN 1125 to allow the client peace of mind.
Crash bars (also referred to as panic bars) are used in the manufacture of our heavy duty single
fire exit steel doors and also double fire exit steel doors. The main function of a
crash bar is to allow the steel door on which it's fitted, to release and open instantly to quickly escape in a fire or other emergency. Our standard steel door crash bar models are from the easi-exit range of euro specs hardware.
